Though it’s is not very Las Vegas, the Oklahoma City metro area has a range of casinos, since state law permits them on Native American tribal property. With many different gaming options available, here’s a list of the main Oklahoma City casinos together with advice on the forms of dining table and electronic games provided in addition to information on entertainment, pubs, dining and much more.

Remington Park

One Remington PlaceOklahoma City, OK 73111-LRB-405-RRB- 424-1000Remington Park, located in Oklahoma City’s Adventure District, is the metro’s horse-racing track, and in 1995 it added a "racino" that features 700 electronic games. There are no table games, but Remington has a variety of restaurants and bars, and features live music at the Wild Rush Bar and Stage.

Riverwind Casino

1544 West Hwy 9Norman, OK 73071-LRB-405-RRB- 322-6000Operated by the Chickasaw Nation and situated in Norman, Riverwind Casino is the largest casino in the metro region in 219,000 square feet. Not only are there over 2,000 digital games and more than 50 tables for blackjack and poker, however Riverwind can be home to a marquee concerts and events from its own Showplace Theatre. An adjoining 100-room resort opened in February 2009.

Newcastle Casino

Only a short drive from southwest Oklahoma City is the Newcastle Casino. It’s not as big as some of the others on this list and doesn’t have a resort however, such as Riverwind, is run by the Chickasaw Nation. Newcastle Casino features digital games, 14 table games, plus a few restaurants.

Lucky Star Casino

7777 N Highway 81El Reno, OK 73036-LRB-405-RRB- 262-7612Located near El Reno, about a 35-minute drive from downtown Oklahoma City, Concho’s Lucky Star Casino opened at the mid-1990s and provides over 1,000 digital games and slots, such as Lots of the Vegas-style favorites. Additionally, the casino includes blackjack along with a 24-hour poker area. Live performances by local and regional groups are common on weekends, and the casino has a massive restaurant/bar.
